Thank you for taking the time to visit my website. My name is Tom McKone and I want to represent you in the Florida House in District 48. I hope that I can earn your support and your vote.

My wife Olivia and I have lived in this community for 13 years. We love this area and enjoy living here. When someone gets deeply involved in a community they get to know and care for it even more. I have been an active member of this community for years within various organizations throughout the region. I understand the challenges as well as the opportunities within our unique district and would be honored if you gave me a chance to represent you in Tallahassee.

In these tough economic times, the State Legislature has to face some hard facts. We cannot expect our seniors and the hard working residents of District 48 to pay for the legislative mistakes of the past. I believe we need a responsible businessman with deep ties to the community to help force our legislators to make the hard choices necessary to stabilize our State’s economic woes and stimulate job creation without resorting to an income tax.
